Teach With Your Strengths
In the fall of 2007 I took the Strengths Finder test to see my top five strengths. They were Positivity, Includer, Input, Developer and Relator. This test was to relate to my coworkers my first year as a resident assistant. I just took the test today, and the results are going to be used with my colleagues in my graduate program. Only one changed. I'm not surprised.

At Gallup, I took the StrengthsFinder and these are my top five:
Learner, Input, Intellection, Achiever and Futuristic.
I like that yours include Positivity and Connectedness. I fear that mine mean I'm self-centered (probably a little true).
Do you think the StrengthsFinder is something you could do with your students at the beginning of the year to help you get to know them, but also to help them get to know and grow into themselves? Or is that way over the heads of middle-schoolers?
